Our Team

Dr Andrew MacDonald

I began my University career in Windsor, Ontario where I completed my Honours in Biology.  The next stop was graduate school at the University of Western Ontario where I obtained my Masters of Science Degree in Physiology.  Next, was a short but informative hiatus working as a sleep technician where I gained experience in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorder.  It was during this position that I had decided to pursue a career  where I could continue to interact with and help members of my community.  Once I decided on a career in Dentistry, I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree with distinction in London, at the University of Western Ontario.

This long but worthwhile journey has brought me to the friendly city of Woodstock.  My wife and I were finally able to lay some roots and bought our first home here 5 years ago.  Since then we have trained our little westie dog, Olive, together and are expecting our first baby girl in April!  Outside of work, you will most likely find me camping, mountain biking, woodworking (amateur) or cooking.  I am truly looking forward  to continuing my Dental Career here at the lovely Woodstock Square Dental office.  The staff and patients have been welcoming since day one and it is my belief that this sense of community will allow us to treat patients in a caring and comfortable manner.   I hope to forever remain a student of Dentistry as it is every professional's duty to further their knowledge in order to provide the best possible care for patients.
